Mr. Morgan serves as our Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of Southern Bank and Trust Company. Previously he served as the Regional Executive of the South Region of the Bank. He has been with the Bank since 2002.
Mr. Covert serves as our President and as the Bank's President and Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of the Bank and as a Bank Examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from 1991 until 1998.
Dan R. Ellis serves as our Chief Financial Officer and as Executive Vice President. He has been employed by the Bank since 2011.
David A. Bean serves as our Corporate Secretary and Treasurer and as Executive Vice President. He has been with the Bank since 1978.
Michael T. Bryant serves as our Vice President and as Executive Vice President and Area Executive for the West Region of the Bank. He has been with the Bank since 1985.
L. Taylor Harrell serves as our Vice President and as Executive Vice President and Area Executive for the Hampton Roads Region of the Bank. He has been with the Bank since 2005.
