With the Southern Bank mobile banking app featuring Mobile Deposit and Picture Pay, you can bank whenever you want and wherever you are. Use your phone’s camera to make deposits. Move money between your Southern Bank accounts when and where you want to.
Deposit money into your account by snapping a picture. Simply take a photo of the front and back of your checks, and after the check clears, the money is available in your account.
There's no need to write checks when you have picture pay. Snap a photo of your bill, select the account that you would like to use, and our team will take care of the rest.
Your payees in online banking are also available in mobile banking, so you can quickly pay your bills, no matter which system you are using.
Through our iPhone and Android applications, users can now access their ATM and Debit Cards to turn the card on/off as desired.
This feature permits users to effectively “turn off” access to their card in the event it is lost or stolen. Additionally, users can simply leave their card primarily in an "off" status and turn access back "on" only before using it to add an additional layer of security and fraud prevention.
Through our iPhone and Android applications, Pay a Friend allows users to complete a person to person transaction in these simple steps:
1. Select the payment account
2. Select send method - Email or Phone
3. Confirm the amount to be paid
4. Enter question/answer only recipient can answer
5. Submit the payment
Recipient will receive either an email or a text advising user to access Payer's site to claim funds.
Touch ID settings are all through your device settings. Before you can set up Touch ID, you'll need to make a passcode for your device. If you have set your Touch ID to pay within apps anyone with access to your device through Touch ID will always have access to your Mobile App.
