Makes A Difference

This hockey season, Southern Bank gave back in a big way. Being involved in the communities we serve is at the heart of how we do business. And this year, we had some serious work to do across the state. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation for the Saves For Kids initiative, lending a helping hand to children in need across North Carolina.

For every save a Hurricanes goalie made this season, Southern Bank donated $10 to the Foundation to support education and health for children — and doubled that in the event of a shutout.
