Better than Affordable
The Southern Bank Home Team Advantage includes a special program for first time home buyers. If you qualify, you can borrow up to 97% of the cost of your home. Here are the highlights of the program:
- Gifts and grants can be used to cover your 3% downpayment
- Liquid assets can’t exceed $75,000
- Applies when purchasing a single family residence (modular or stick- built) as a primary residence
- Fixed rate financing
- Private Mortgage Insurance is not required
- The Seller may pay closing costs and prepaids
- A free homebuyers course is required
