Since our founding, Southern Bank has been focused on building relationships with the people, businesses and communities we serve.
We believe that staying true to our traditions and our values gives us a strong foundation, and allows us to lead with confidence.
We believe that banking should be about more than just numbers — it should be about supporting the hard work, hopes, and aspirations of our neighbors.
We believe that our success depends on earning the trust of the people and businesses
we serve.
At the same time, we must never stop growing. We must connect with new customers, expand our offerings to those who have been loyal to us, and create a better future for our employees and the communities they serve. If we can do all that, we can sustain our upward trajectory without leaving behind the values that have earned us the respect and trust of our existing client base.
How You Can Contribute
As employees of Southern Bank, the way we talk about the bank helps to solidify its
image in the minds and hearts of our customers. To do so, we ask that you take to heart our
core brand values, and ensure that you convey them when you interact with our customers.
Southern Bank’s Brand Values

customers and communities allows us to move forward boldly together.

adapt to their future needs by staying current with the most up-to-date technologies.

What’s Next
Refreshing our brand identity is a big task, and the process will take several months to complete. Rollout of physical rebranded material will be staggered to ensure quality, so please take into account that your branch may receive materials later than others.
Our first priority is the interior of our branches, especially for those locations whose materials are already lagging behind. Signage, stationery, merchandise, and all other major components of the in-branch experience must reflect our updated look and message for our image to remain consistent, so leaders can expect these materials to be prioritized.
Signature pieces for major divisions of the bank itself (consumer, business, and wealth management) will also be distributed to each branch.
